Frequently Asked Questions

Here are answers to the most common questions we receive. If you don't see what you're looking for, reach out—we're here to help.

How do I donate to The Iron Foundation?

You can donate directly through our secure Stripe link: Donate Now. Every dollar goes directly to scholarships, equipment, training resources, and our future facility. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so your donation is tax-deductible.

What programs are you building?

We're currently sponsoring 3 girls from Iron Maidens Fastpitch. Our vision is to expand to offer multi-sport training, strength and agility programs, nutrition classes, and mentorship opportunities for youth from toddlers to high school students.

How can my child participate in future programs?

We're here to help! Contact us at info@theironfoundation.com or call (509) 730-5366. As we grow, we'll work with families to remove financial and transportation barriers through scholarships based on need. Our goal is that no child is turned away due to cost.

Can I volunteer or donate equipment?

Absolutely! We're looking for volunteer coaches, mentors, and community supporters to help us build this vision. We also plan to accept donations of sports equipment, uniforms, and gear. We're planning a gear drive event (coming soon!) and will implement a "leave one, take one" system so families can access what they need. Reach out to get involved!

What is your vision for the future?

Phase 1: We're securing a smaller facility with a family area, multi-use turf space, and storefront. Long-term: We're working toward a 15,000-20,000 sq ft training facility with a full turf field, batting cages, basketball court, classrooms, a sporting goods thrift store, and family spaces. Our goal is to raise $200,000 within six months to make this vision a reality and expand our reach into different counties as we grow.
